MARGAO
South Goa MP Francisco Sardinha on Wednesday sounded categorical in saying that son Shalom’s decision to contest the ensuing Assembly polls from Curtorim does not amount to family raj politics.
Asked to react to the statement made by Curtorim Congress veteran Joseph Vaz asking the leadership not to promote family raj, Sardinha said the issue of family raj may come only when two tickets are given to members of a same family “I am an MP representing entire South Goa. And, if my son is keen in contesting the coming polls he is free to do so”, he said, demanding to know how it will amount to family raj.
