The State Government has appointed advocate Savio Joaquim Filipe Correia as the President of the Administrative Tribunal, Goa, on a temporary basis.
The appointment, made under Section 3(2) of the Goa Administrative Tribunal Act, 1965, was notified by the Law Department on September 29.
Correia will hold the Group A post . His appointment will take effect from the date he assumes charge.
He will remain on probation for two years and the appointment will be governed by the terms and conditions specified in the office memorandum dated September 22, 2026.
The appointment is subject to production of a Medical Board certificate and satisfactory verification of his character and antecedents by the competent authorities.
The government has directed that expenditure on his pay and allowances be booked under the budget head for Other Administrative Services and Administrative Tribunal.
