Sources close to Kavlekar, who is the wife of Quepem’s Congress MLA Babu Kavlekar, told The Goan that she along with Congress party members and supporters would visit three religious institutions from Sanguem on Monday.
“Kavlekar will first go to the Paikdev temple to seek blessings from God Paikdev, before proceeding to Our Lady of Miracles Church at Sanguem. She will later visit a Mosque in Sanguem to seek blessings as well.
Congress supporters will later gather at Sanguem bus stand, where they will officially begin their poll campaign.
