“Before I could become an MLA, there were drug sales in my coastal belt of Calangute. But, when I hit it hard on the police and provided them with the names, those people were arrested and are still in the jail. They were bringing in drugs from somewhere else and selling it here. So we have totally stopped sale of drugs in Calangute. We have to put a mechanism in place, identify places which are involved and provide the details to CM and police. You have to go deep inside and law is there to protect you. If anything is happening in his constituency (Siolim), he can stop it. I will help him”, asserted Lobo.
