The matters related to the challenge of the Mahadayi Water Tribunal award were not taken up by the Supreme Court of India as widely expected but may come up on Thursday, sources said, citing time constraints.
The Special Leave Petitions filed by Goa and the other two party-States of Karnataka and Goa are now expected to be taken up by the Apex Court on Thursday.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said, Goa’s case in the Mhadei matter is water tight and that Karnataka has not yet submitted their further documents before the Supreme Court.
