Shree Shantadurga Higher Secondary School, Bicholim on Friday submitted an interim report on the pepper spray issue to the Director of Education.
The School has sought time till August 22 to submit their final report on the entire incident.
At least eleven girl students from a Higher Secondary School at Bicholim in North Goa were hospitalised after a group of fellow students sprayed a “pepper spray” on them.
Director Education Shailesh Zingade said that the school has submitted interim report informing that five students including a girl student were found guilty and accordingly are suspended for one month for their misconduct.
"They have sought some time to submit final report as they were not in position to record the statements of the students who fell ill," Zingade said.
The Directorate of Education had issued show cause notice to the school on Thursday and directed the school management to submit the detail report of the incident within three days.
