MARGAO
A scrapyard and a restaurant were sealed by the Goa State Pollution Control Board in the city here on Friday.
Officials led by Salcete Mamlatdar Vimod Dalal and officials of the GSPCB and FDA were present during the sealing exercise.
The FDA had recently ordered the closure of the restaurant located on the Margao station road over unhygienic conditions.
The Margao police, besides staff of the Electricity Department were roped in to disconnect power connections to the two premises.
