"Since CM is tested positive we want to start this drive from himso that he and his family can detect oxygen level and return it once the use isover," said AAP Goa Seafarers Cell chief CaptVenzyViegas.
The party local wing haslaunched what was termed as ‘Oxi-Mitra’ drive through the deployment ofvolunteers armed with Pulse Oximeters across villages and towns of Goa to checkoxygen levels of people in need as well as provide one to Covid patients who cannotget one.
AAP has experimented well with Oximeters in Delhi and it has comehandy in helping ascertain Oxygen levels in people that was, in turn, helpfulin decision making whether to hospitalise the patient or not.
AAP volunteers in every village and town of Goa will provide these Oximeters.
AAP leaders demonstrated the procedure used in using the Oximeterwhich involved sanitisation to the staff of the official residence of the ChiefMinister. VenzyViegas charged at the government with notbeing transparent enough and not having a comprehensive plan to fight COVID.
