Promising governance of development, prosperity and security not only to Goa but to the entire nation, Union Home Minister Amit Shah appealed to the Goans to elect Pramod Sawant for the third time and make a hattrick.
Mentioning that Goa has always been in the top three States as far as development and implementation of various projects are concerned, Shah assured that within six months of Pramod Sawant being the Chief Minister of Goa, mining will be re-started with the help of Mining Development Corporation.
Alleging that the Digambar Kamat led Congress government was responsible for corruption in mining, the Union Minister stated that the Supreme Court had to ban the mining leases as they were allotted wrongfully by the earlier government. It is BJP who has tried to find a solution to this issue and found an amicable solution, said Shah.
Mentioning the deities of Goa, Manguesh, Shantadurga and Saptakoteshwar, Shah stated that during the election campaigning all parties come out with big promises but forget them soon. “It is BJP that comes with the list of works done in five years along with the list of projects for the next five years. BJP has given stability to the nation and under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Goa has been on the forefront to reach these projects to every home,” he said.
“In the 50th year of Goa’s liberation and 75th year of India’s freedom, let me promise the citizens of Goa that in the coming five years Goa will be a prosperous State,'' said Shah.
“These years are very crucial for Goa as well as the nation, and the nation will only prosper if all the States prosper. Goa may be a small state, but it is like a ‘bindi’ on the forehead of Bharatmata and very dear to us. There are many projects for Goa and BJP will see to it that all these are implemented,” said Shah.
