Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National President Amit Shah will be on a two-day visit to the State on July 1 and 2. The visit is a part of his nationwide tour to strengthen the organization ahead of Lok Sabha polls 2019.
To meet MLAs & industrialistsrrthe goan I networkrPANAJI rrShah, who will arrive at Dabolim airport at 11.15 am on Saturday, will be welcomed by more than 2,500 BJP workers. rSpeaking to The Goan Everyday, State BJP General Secretary Sadanand Shet Tanawade said, “After the arrival at Dabolim airport, he will head towards Azad Maidan to pay tribute to the martyrs. In the evening, he will meet the elected representatives and then professional in various fields.” rState BJP on Friday held a meeting to review preparedness for Shah’s visit. The meeting was attended by State BJP President Vinay Tendulkar, Party’s National Joint General Secretary B L Santosh, Union AYUSH Minister Shripad Naik, State General Secretary Sadanand Tanavade, State Treasurer Sanjiv Desai and heads of Party’s frontal organizations. rShah will have lunch with the ministers and MLAs in the government including those from coalition partners. At 4.30 pm, he will address various elected representatives, who are a part of BJP at Hotel Fidalgo. He would then head to Hotel Taj Vivanta where he will address professionals including industrialists, hotel owners, chartered accountants, doctors, builders, among others between 6.30-7.30 pm. rOn Sunday, Shah will inaugurate BJP’s South Goa office at 6th floor, Reliance Magnum, Opposite Kadamba Bus Stand at 4 pm.
