Dr Dinesh Amonkar inaugurates the free cataract detection camp at Gaonkar Wada, Bicholim in the presence of Dr Chandrakant Shetye and others.

Shiksha Vision in association with Vision Hospital organised a free cataract detection camp at Shri Shantadurga Devasthan Hall in Gaonkar Wada, Bicholim, on Sunday from 9 am to 1 pm.
Around 400 patients were examined and medicines were given to the needy, while free cataract surgeries will be performed at Vision Hospital for those patients who have been detected with cataract at the camp.
Dr Dinesh Amonkar was the chief guest for the inaugural function, while others present included Dr Chandrakant Shetye, Ashirvad Mandrekar, Rahul Dhond, Tushar Mandrekar, Shamu Gaonkar, Bharat Parab, Sunil Parab and Sandeep Gaonkar.
Dr Dinesh Amonkar lauded Dr Chandrakant Shetye and Shiksha Vision for the notable social work in organising free eye check camps in all villages, thereby focusing on people in rural areas.
In his address, Dr Chandrakant Shetye said they have been involved in this service to provide good vision to people.
