In a grand celebration, Shree Ram Navami was observed with great fervour at the Shree Samsthan Gokarn Partagali Jeevottam Math, Partagali, on Friday.
Incidentally, the rituals began as early as 1 am on Friday with the conduct of Shree Maharasthotsav & Agniholla Samarpan to Narayan Bhoot.
At about 1.40 pm, HH Shrimad Vidhyadheesh Teerth Swamiji broke a coconut at the wheel of the Rath to commence the grand celebrations marking Ram Janmahotsav.
Later, in the evening, Shree Maharatharohan was held in the Mutt.
President of the Mutt Shrinivas Dempo, PWD Minister Digamber Kamat, and several other Gaud Saraswat Brahmin community members, besides priests and others, took part in the celebrations.
