PANAJ Union Ayush Minister and Minister of State for Defence Shripad Naik was discharged from Manipal Hospital on Saturday afternoon after making a full recovery from Covid-19.
Naik had tested positive for Covid-19 along with his wife on August 12 and was admitted to Manipal Hospital at Dona Paula the following day. He had tested negative for the infection in the last week of August.
Speaking to the media after being discharged, a visibly frail Naik said, "After having rested myself, I feel as good as new. I will have to rest some more so that my strength returns to normal and I can return to work."
