Singing contest at Mapusa

MAPUSA: An all Goa live music singing competition in Konkani, Marathi and Hindi will be organised at Hanuman Natyagrah, Mapusa, on December 24, from 5 pm onwards.

According to the organisers, an audition will be held at Tulsiram Hall, Morod, Mapusa, on December 17, from 9 am to noon.

The contest is organized by Swar Rang in collaboration with Dynamic Academy.

Police constable's body yet to be traced

BICHOLIMAuthorities are yet to trace the body of the 41-year-old police constable attached to the Crime Branch, who was feared drowned after he allegedly jumped off the Amona Bridge on Thursday. According to sources from Sakhali Police Outpost, the marine police was called on Friday morning, but the body was not traced till late in the evening.
