Since both sarpanch and deputy sarpanch of Sirsaim were voted out more than a month ago, the BDO had deputed Sandesh Naik as the administrator to oversee the gram sabha.
None of the panchas were present for the gram sabha.
Naik adjourned the gram sabha after locals created a ruckus and demanded postponement of the gram sabha.
“The BDO will decide about the date of the next gram sabha,” Naik said.
Meanwhile, election for the posts of sarpanch and deputy sarpanch will be held on March 9.
