Sisodia launches AAP manifesto for Navelim, Sanguem, Cuncolim, Velim

Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia on Saturday unveiled the Aam Aadmi Party's manifesto centred around the three Ps - Preservation, Progress and Prosperity at the sabhas held in Navelim, Sanguem, Cuncolim, and Velim. 

Sisodia explained that AAP is committed to preserving the rich culture and heritage, progress through the development of public utilities, city infrastructure and amenities and ensuring the prosperity of every individual through improved governance and holistic development, stated a press release.

AAP Sanguem candidate Abhijeet Dessai promised Sanguem residents that the Chuni-Rivona, Corla-Cazur, Davrem-Netravali, Patre-Bhati, Dharni-Ugem, Pedamol-Rivona, Poltadin-Malcarne and Salgini roads would be built within three years, the release adds.

Furthermore, AAP has assured that the maximum rate for raw cashew nuts will be Rs 200 per kg, the rate will increase by five per cent annually, and a cashew nut processing unit will be established in Netravali or Vaddem, the release stated.

In Navelim, AAP candidate Pratima Coutinho pledged to beautify and clean up the Saipem lake and build a road linking Dongorim road and Rawanfond Road to alleviate congestion along the main road near Rosary church Navelim, the release adds.

Cuncolim candidate Prashant Naik says he plans to establish free quality healthcare facilities in Macasana, Guirdolim, Chandor, Ambaulim and Paroda. He also wants to establish a 50-bedded urban health centre with all medical facilities in Cuncolim. 

AAP Velim candidate Cruz Silva said that he would protect biodiversity and indigenous occupation along the Sal River. He intends to establish coaching centres in every village for professional examinations, such as NEET, NET, UPSC, GPSC, CAT. 

He plans to establish entrepreneurship and job orientation centres in Velim to address the unemployment problem in the constituency. He also plans to construct free and fast Wi-Fi networks in every village to provide citizens with access to the internet, the release stated.
