MARGAO
Examination of the skeletal remains recovered from a closed house at Navelim has revealed that the bones were of a male person, but the post-mortem examination could not throw light on the cause of the death.
Margao police had last week recovered a skull, around 16 ribs, a jaw and two long bones from the house.
The post-mortem examination by a medico-legal officer has now revealed that the skeletal remains were that of a human being.
However, the cause of death of the person could not be ascertained since the death is suspected to have taken place around a year and a half ago.
