Social activist from Siolim Ravi Harmalkar joins AAP

A prominent social activist Ravi Harmalkar from Siolim joined Aam Aadmi Party on Monday in the presence of AAP Goa desk in-charge Atishi, AAP Siolim candidate Vishnu Naik and AAP Youth Wing President North Pujan Malvankar, stated a press release.

While addressing the media Atishi said, "Ravi Harmalkar from Siolim is a renowned social activist who is actively advocating for the rights of Goans. He played an instrumental role in the Save Mhadei river agitation and the agitation against the three-linear projects. Since 2018, he has been a part of the Goa Foundation. He established Gomantak Bahujan Samaj to raise issues related to Bahujans".

Ravi Harmalkar said, "Bahujan Samaj has a major issue with land rights. Many people are still without land ownership, but political parties have used this issue for political gain. Therefore, I was pleased when AAP declared Palekar as their candidate for CM. After many years, a person from the Bhandari community will get to lead".
