Power was finally restored at the South Goa district hospital on Sunday, giving relief to patients undergoing treatment.
Medical Superintendent, Dr Deepa Correia, told The Goan that power has been restored by the company which was roped in by the DHS to carry out the maintenance.
“The company had also completed the work on Saturday itself, but the power was restored on Sunday morning after completing the work in all respects,” she said.
The hospital had witnessed power outages for five days after the high tension electric panel developed moisture.
