Have the South Goa District Collectorate officials anything to say on the septic tank within its complex, found overflowing by an inspection team headed by Goa State Pollution Control Board (GSPCB) on Thursday morning?
Well, the inspection team comprising of officials of the GSPCB, Health, Margao Municipal and Sewerage Infrastructure Development Corporation of Goa Ltd (SIDCGL) found to their shock and surprise that the septic tank in the Collectorate complex was overflowing and the water findings its way in the adjoining storm water nullah.
When The Goan asked whether the district Collectorate will be issued a notice on the overflowing septic tank, a GSPCB official pointed out that whatever that comes to the notice of the inspection team will be noted and a report will be submitted before the High Court for action.
