The state government on Wednesday issued renewed SOPs with immediate effect for domestic air and rail passengers entering Goa.
Accordingly, all passengers entering the state by air and rail will be subjected to compulsory thermal scanning. Those with body temperatures beyond the acceptable range will be sent for Covid testing upon payment of Rs 2,000.
Meanwhile, it has also been disclosed that people wishing to travel from Goa to Maharashtra and require an RT-PCR Covid negative certificate can pay Rs 2,000 and get the test done at South and North Goa District Hospitals.
