On the occasion of World Environment Day on Thursday, the State government is all set to launch a unified single window portal for accepting and processing approvals and permissions as well as the complaints pertaining to the Coastal Regulation Zone (CRZ) violations
The State Environment department will host a State-level function to mark the World Environment Day. This year’s theme is "Beat Plastic Pollution".
On Tuesday, Environment Minister Alexio Sequeria, who is currently undergoing treatment at AIIMs New Delhi had a two hour long meeting with secretary environment Arunbkumar Mishra and GSPCB Member Secretary and Samjeev Joglekar to review the preparation.
The department is set to launch the online portal as assured to the National Green Tribunal.
On the occasion, Khazan and Mangroves Management Plan and State Environment Report will be released.
