In a bid to alleviate the burden on the common man, CM Manohar Parrikar on Thursday set the ball rolling for the sale of subsidized coconuts through outlets of Goa State Horticultural Corporation.
The CM distributed the first set of coconuts at the State Horticultural Corp Ltd outlet in Altinho near Joggers Park.
The initiative aimed at making it convenient for the people to buy coconuts at affordable rates.
