Suspicious man detained on Calangute Beach with multiple phones and ID card

Two officers from the TPU, PC Dhanaji Jadhav and PC Arun Sawant, detained a man exhibiting suspicious behaviour on Calangute Beach today. The man, carrying a mustard-coloured handbag, aroused suspicion and failed to provide satisfactory answers when questioned by the patrolling staff. Despite repeated requests, he refused to disclose his name or the bag's contents.

Upon inspection, the handbag contained three mobile, two wallets, and an ID card belonging to Subby Singh of the 4th Battalion of SSB Lucknow, U.P. said SP North Goa Akshat Kaushal

The man, along with the confiscated items, was handed over to Calangute Police Station for further investigation.
