A glance at the charge sheet further revealed that the accused persons had procured two country-made pistols from Bihar.
While the accused used one pistol to kill Swapnil Walke on September 2, the second pistol was found in possession of the mother of one of the accused persons.
The chargesheet states that the accused Kundan Kumar had supplied two country-made pistols with ammunition to Mustafa and Evander for Rs. 70,000. Accused Rahul Kumar and Shani Kumar helped the accused persons to procure the illegal arms from Kundan Kumar who is a known criminal.
Shani Kumar and Rahul Kumar have been charged for abetting the offence committed under Arms Act as regards illegal possession and sale by accused Kundan Kumar and illegal purchase by accused Mustafa Shaikh and Evander.
During the course of the investigation, it was revealed through witnesses that, the accused had procured two arms. One arm was used in the commission of the crime and the second arm was found in possession of the mother of one of the accused. The same was attached by the police.
