Tawadkar to contest Lok Sabha polls

CANACONArr“I have already conveyed my decision to contest the Lok Sabha polls to my supporters and well-wishers and there won’t be any going back on it,” Tawadkar told the The Goan. rBlaming Sawaikar as the man behind to deny him the party ticket at the last moment, Tawadkar said: “Due to Sawaikar, BJP lost three seats in South and two in North, and he is the reason for BJP to fare so badly in Salcete also.”r“Sawaikar is not only responsible for the fall of BJP in Goa, but he used his clout to deny me the party ticket,” stated Tawadkar. r“Being a responsible and experienced person having held important positions in BJP and being a minister, I had said giving party ticket to three-time loser Prakash Velip for Quepem constituency is not advisable but suicidal and only with an intention to deny me the ticket, party fielded Velip at Quepem and lost as anticipated,” he added.r“I will contest the Lok Sabha elections and this decision of mine has already been endorsed by my workers and supporters. We are also in the process of putting up action plan in all the constituencies of South Goa to make our decision stronger in the months to come and be ready for the 2019 Lok Sabha polls,” said Tawadkar.
