The order, issued by the Commission’s member secretary AD Salkar, states that the Commission received a letter on February 13 from the parents of the boy who was raped during the camp.
Though the parents have not disclosed their names, they have revealed the name of the teacher as Ramesh Malekar.
The parents have also revealed the name of their son, studying in Class IX of the institution, as well as the other boy who was allegedly molested.
Though the complaint is anonymous, the Commission has taken cognisance of the matter since “the allegations made in the complaint are very serious in nature, the Commission cannot be a silent spectator to such (an) alleged incident.”
The Commission has directed the police inspector of the investigation cell of the Commission to investigate the matter thoroughly and submit a detailed report to the Commission in 15 days from February 26.
