Teen killed in Colvale accident
MAPUSA: A teenager was crushed in a hit-and-run case at Colvale on Tuesday.
According to the police, Armaan Shah (18), a native of UP and resident of Colvale, was hit by a vehicle opposite the Colvale jail at around 1.30 pm.
The unidentified vehicle hit Armaan who was riding a scooter, from the rear and ran over him, killing him on the spot, police informed.
Mapusa Police conducted the panchanama and referred the body for postmortem.
Police have booked an offence under relevant sections against unknown persons and PSI Kiran Naik is investigating the case.
