Teresa's sainthood celebrated
PANAJI: Pilar Seminary Ex-Students’ Association (PSESA) celebrated the sainthood of Saint Teresa of Calcutta at Joseph’s Home, Quepem, run by the Missionaries of Charity on September 5, which is Mother Teresa’s feast day. A Eucharist was celebrated at the chapel and later the members of PSESA spent an hour playing music, singing songs, dancing, joking and interacting with the residents. The visitors offered foodstuff and detergents to the house. A special congratulatory song was sung to the sisters and volunteers taking care of the residents.
The event was organized as part of the community service by PSESA. The members & families of PSESA have agreed to organize an eye check up camp at the venue at a later date.
