As a part of the Science Film Festival of India (SciFFI), a two-day workshop on science film making was organised by the Vidynan Parishad Goa at the Goa College of Art campus. The workshop was attended by 60 participants.
While inaugurating the workshop Suhas Godse, president, Vidnyan Parishad Goa, explained the motive behind organizing this workshop. Requesting the participants to take tips on filmmaking from the experts so that they can participate in the science film competition to win prizes during SCI-FFI 2018, Godse highlighted the importance of science in everyday life.
Rajendra Talak, vice chairman, ESG congratulated the organizers for such a meaningful workshop. Requested the participants not to focus on page 3 entertainment, but to create content on science, Talak also elaborated on the film finance scheme wherein selected films are eligible for grants from the Government of Goa and offered full support of ESG to such meaningful workshops.
