Theft of gold worth Rs 3.5 lakh reported in Ponda

Ponda police have registered a case of looting jewelery worth about Rs 3.5 lakh from a woman who was traveling in a KSRTC bus going from here to Bijapur.

While Ramnagar police conducted checks, suspicion arose that the theft might have taken place in Ponda, leading the woman to file a complaint at the Ponda police station.
