Congress leader and Aldona MLA Carlos Alvares Ferreira on Saturday questioned the failure of the police to seize the equipment after shutting down one of the stages at the Sunburn EDM in Vagator for sound law violations.
Addressing the media in his chamber Alvares Ferreira said the action of the police lacked seriousness and seemed to be a public show by the authorities.
“If you are shutting down one of the stages because of violation of sound laws in compliance of the High Court order and in compliance of the Collector’s order, then why have you not seized the sound equipment,” Alvares Ferreira questioned.
