Three booked for illegal hill-cutting at Gulem

Canacona Deputy Collector and SDM Kedar Naik late Saturday night filed a police complaint after three persons were found engaged in hill-cutting and extraction of soil at Gulem-Canacona.

In a complaint submitted to Canacona Police, Naik stated that the three persons were engaged in illegal hill-cutting and removal/extraction of soil near government primary school at Gulem at about 10 pm, without obtaining valid permissions from the departments concerned.
