The Cuncolim Police has registered a case of kidnapping after three minors missing from Panzorconne in Cuncolim since Friday.
The three siblings, a brother and two sisters, were putting up at Panzorconne with their father and step mother. The trio went missing since they did not return back home from school on Friday.
Preliminary investigations by the Cuncolim police have revealed that they are presently holed up at Calangute.
Cuncolim Police Station in-charge, PI Diego Gracias informed that the father of the minor children lodged a complaint stating that they have gone missing on Friday. Since the trio is all minors, the Cuncolim police have registered a case of kidnapping and offences under the provisions of the Goa Children’s Act.
PI Gracias informed that the 16 year old girl and her 10 year old brother had gone to drop their 11 year old sister to the government Primary School. Since they did not return home, the father, who is working as a labourer, who hails from Bengal, lodged a missing report with the Cuncolim police.
Sources said the police have found through intelligence that the three minor children are presently holed up in Calangute. The police are investigating the case.
