Pedestrian dies in Kadamba bypass mishap

A pedestrian was crushed to death after he came under a car at the Kadamba bypass road on Saturday night. According to Old Goa police, the pedestrian Gopal Pradhan (45) from Orissa was crossing the road near Ronaldo hotel when he was knocked down by car, leading to his instant death. The police arrived at the spot, conducted the panchanama and sent the body for post-mortem. The car driver was arrested and further investigations are underway.
