PERNEM
Stating that youth in the State would be the party's main aim, Goa Forward president Prabhakar Timble on Sunday appealed to the youth to join the party for development of Goa.
He was speaking at Goa Forward's first meeting organised at Pernem. Party general secretary and spokesperson Prashant Naik, vice-president Mohandas Loyekar, Anup Tilve, Rajmohan Shetye and others were present.
Speaking further, Timble said Goan youth should be with local parties instead of supporting national parties which work at the orders of the high command.
“If our party is voted to power, a law would be made where industries setting up in Goa will have to give 80 per cent employment to locals,” he added.
Spokesperson Prashant Naik said Mandovi river has become an international site for gambling.
