tourist in Goa, the travel and tourism body has made a request to work in association with the the state government.
“We as TAAI can bring in tourists from all over our very own country. However, we need competitive rates. Let us understand that today’s tourist look for value for money and we have been the main catalyst between the tourists and the hotels,” added Dharwatkar.
TAAI has requested that the tourism board be given recognition with renewal of tourism license. TAAI has also demanded that the body be informed about all tourism related activities in the state and given representation in airport advisory board. It has also raised the concern about sewerage at the entrance to Colva beach which is maligning the image of Goa internationally.
