A 62-year-old tourist from Bengaluru, Abdul Rafique, has gone missing during a jeep excursion to Dudhsagar on Thursday. The incident unfolded in the afternoon, prompting authorities to launch extensive search operations.
Following the disappearance, a missing person's case has been officially registered, with search efforts ongoing as of today. Reports indicate that Rafique's wife informed authorities that the jeep stopped near a rivulet within the dense forest while en route to the waterfalls around 1:30 PM. It was during this stop that they realized Rafique was no longer with them. Subsequently, his co-passengers combed the area before alerting the authorities.
Rafique and his wife were on a visit to Goa, staying at a hotel in Varca, with the excursion to Dudhsagar on Thursday planned to explore the region.
