Amidst heavy downpour on Monday morning, the Agassaim market road got submerged thereby affecting smooth flow of traffic along the route.
When The Goan visited the area the vehicular traffic had slowed down with the two-wheeler riders being the worst hit as many preferred to take alternate route for their onwards journey.
Some two-wheeler riders were seen walking along with their bikes due to the danger of the bikes stopping midway in the flooded area.
Many office goers were also affected as they had to take alternate routes, resulting in them reaching late to work.
