Tributes paid to BandodkarPANAJI: Rich tributes were paid to the memory of first chief minister late Dayanand B Bandodkar, on his 105th birth anniversary on Saturday.
Chief Minister Laxmikant Parsekar offered floral tributes at the samadhi of late Bandodkar at Miramar. Minister for PWD, Sudin Dhavlikar, Deputy Speaker Vishnu Wagh, MLAs Lavoo Mamledar, Naresh Sawal and Sidharth Kuncolienkar, Chief Secretary RK Srivastava, secretary (Education) Virendra Kumar and others were present.
Thereafter Parsekar and others proceeded to the city where they garlanded the statue of late Bandodkar at the Old Secretariat and paid homage.
Thereafter Parsekar later along with Speaker Anant Shet, Deputy Chief Minister Francis D’Souza, Sudin Dhavlikar, Vishnu Wagh, Lavoo Mamledar, Rohan Khaunte, Sidharth Kuncolienkar, Srivastava, Kumar, Vijay Paranjape and others paid floral tributes at the statue of late Bandodkar at the Secretariat complex, Porvorim.
