SANGUEM:
A driver escaped unhurt when a truck carrying laterite stones for reconstruction work of an old house fell into a water drain in Sanguem town on Friday morning.
The incident took place as the truck was parked by the roadside to unload. The water drain suddenly caved in due to the weight of the truck, causing the truck to fall in the drain.
The truck was removed with the help of a crane which arrived short while later. No damages were reported to the truck.
