Two arrested for assault
VALPOI: Valpoi Police arrested two persons from Kasarwada-Morlem, Sattari, on charges of assaulting a woman from the same ward.
According to Valpoi Police, Devki Gaonkar complained that the accused Bhingo Gaonkar (20) and Narangi Gaonkar (35) assaulted her with a wooden stick on her head and other parts of the body, causing fracture injuries to her finger and also damaged her golden ornament, causing loss of Rs 1,000. Both the accused have been arrested. Police is investigating the case.
