Calangute police have arrested two persons on charges of attacking Abdul Saudagar near a hotel in the wee hours of May 8.
According to reports, the accused Sitesh Kerkar owns a fast-food stall and Abdul Saudagar with his brothers Hasan and Hussain Saudagar were arguing with someone near his stall. Kerkar asked them to move away from there and this had led to a fight between them.
Saish Palkar is accused to have attacked Abdul with a cricket bat, causing him serious injuries while his brothers escaped with minor injuries. Calangute police filed a plaint against three accused under Section IPC 307 and arrested Ashish Palkar and Sitesh Kerkar in this connection.
