VASCO:
An unidentified male in his fifties was found dead on the railway tracks at Kulem Railway Station after being run over by a train.
The incident was reported by the Deputy Station Manager of Vasco Railway Station, following which authorities visited the scene.
The deceased, approximately 5 feet in height, was found wearing a yellow round-neck jersey and blue jeans. The body bore severe locomotive injuries, indicating that he was struck while crossing the tracks.
The Vasco Railway Police have registered a case of unnatural death under Section 194 of the BNS. The body has been preserved at SGDH Margao for medico-legal formalities and identification.
Further investigation is being conducted by PSI Krishna Talpi. Authorities have appealed to public with information about the deceased to contact the police.
