Vaccination prog rescheduled; Salcete Tika Utsav back on track

The South Goa district authorities have rescheduled the Tika Utsav in some of the Salcete villages beginning Thursday.
The vaccination programme will kick start from tomorrow in the villages of Carmona, Dramapur, Davorlima and Sarzora as per the latest government schedule released by the authorities.
The programme at Carmona, Davorlim, Sarzora and Dramapur will all take place at the village panchayat halls.
Vaccination will take place on May 28 at the Cavelossim panchayat hall, Rumdamol Panchayat hall and at Dicarpale at the Our Lady of Fatima Church hall.
On May 29, the vaccination exercise will take place at the Varca panchayat hall and the Sao Jose de Areal panchayat hall. The exercise will also be held on the same day in Cuncolim at the Cuncolim Municipality.
The vaccination exercise will be held at Orlim on May 30 at the Church hall and the Nuvem panchayat hall.
Villages that will be covered under the vaccination on May 31 include Paroda at the Panchayat hall, Benaulim Panchayat hall, Verna panchayat hall and at Adarsh School, Margao.
Similarly, the vaccination will be held on June 1 at the Colva Church School and at government high school, Aquem on the same day.
June 2 will see the vaccination being held at the Seraulim Panchayat hall, St Jude High School, Betalbatim and at government high school, Sirvodem-Margao.
The Majorda panchayat hall will be the centre for the vaccination on June 3 and at the Dayvadnya hall Calconda-Margao on the same day.
The exercise will be conducted at the Multipurpose school complex, Borda for two days on June 4-5.
