The State government has announced a special vaccination campaign for persons belonging to six categories in the 18-44-year age group, which will begin from June 3 across the State.
A press release issued by the Directorate of Information and Publicity, the vaccination for these priority groups will be conducted 83 government-approved centres all over Goa on Thursday.
The beneficiaries in these six categories will have to approach the vaccination centres along with the mandatory documents and produce them at the vaccination centres. These categories are Divyangs, lactating mothers, parents of a child whose age is two years or less, persons with comorbidities, auto-rickshaw/taxi drivers/motorcycle pilots and seafarers.
These categories will be vaccinated at the government centres on specific dates, and they will have to bring documents to prove their identity, age and other related information, along with them.
The Divyangs will be vaccinated from June 3 to June 10. The beneficiaries must carry their disability certificate or UDID Card and Aadhar Card/Photo ID proof.
