The Aam Aadmi Party has unanimously decided that Benaulim MLA Venzy Viegas will be AAP's Legislative Party Leader in the State Assembly.
In a letter addressed to the Speaker of the House, the AAP State convenor Rahul Mhambre informed that the decision was taken at a meeting held at the party’s office on March 28, 2022. AAP has two MLAs in the House -- Benaulim MLA Venzy Viegas and Velim MLA Cruz Silva.
“The meeting was attended by Benaulim MLA Venzy Viegas and Velim MLA Cruz Silva. At the said meeting, Venzy Viegas, MLA of Benaulim constituency, was unanimously elected as the Legislative Party Leader of Aam Aadmi Party,” Mhambre stated in the letter.
