Goa Forward Chief Vijai Sardesai on Sunday said  Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar is keeping well and that he would call  on him on Monday to discuss the issue of kabrastan and  how to take the project forward.

“I have spoken to people very close to the CM and I have been told that he is keeping well. I am going to meet him on   Monday to thank him for sanctioning the amount of Rs 15.16 crore to  acquire land for the proposed kabrastan for the Muslim community. I will  also request him to take forward the kabrastan work  through the GSIDC,” he  said on Sunday when asked over the health of the CM.

While thanking the CM for the grant,  Sardesai said it only goes to show that inspite of suffering from an  advanced stage of cancer, the CM is working for the people  of Goa.

“We are also pushing the CM to work to achieve the  commitment made to the people of the State,” he added.
