Admitting that the panchayat Village Development Plan (VDP) is not executed most of the times, Rural Development Agency (RDA) Minister Michael Lobo has felt the need to include the VDP in the Town Planning Development, so that the VDP is given legal approval.
He was speaking after inaugurating the renovated panchayat house of the Assagao panchayat and also handed a free ambulance service for Assagao, Verla-Canca, and Anjuna-Kaysuv panchayats.
Project Director of District RDA (North) Meena Naik Goltekar Assagao Sarpanch Hanumant Naik, Anjuna Sarpanch Savio Almeida and Verla-Canca Sarpanch Amita Korgaonkar were among those present during the ceremony.
