Valpoi MLA and Health Minister on Saturday stated that “sentiments of the people are important but so also are infrastructure projects that would transform the constituency.”
He was referring to the ongoing agitation opposing the proposed IIT campus at Melaulim.
“As far as I am concerned, people’s sentiments important but we have to also stand certain infra projects”, he stated adding that he supports IIT because it will transform the rural constituency.
